The HR Director, Andean Cluster (Colombia, Peru & Ecuador) is accountable for delivering the business strategy through the people strategy, ensuring the organization’s current and future needs are met while also ensuring excellence in the execution of all core HR processes & programs. These programs may include: organizational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; health and welfare benefits, pension governance and plan oversight; employee wellness; human resources administration; payroll; employee change management & communications; employment/industrial/labor relations.The incumbent will report directly to the Regional Director Human Resources, Latin America & AMEA and dotted line to the General Manager, Andean Cluster. He/she will be the HR head of the cluster, as well as, a member of the Andean Leadership Team. The incumbent will be accountable for the cluster human resources team and manage the local team to execute a full spectrum of human resources activities for the Andean cluster. The incumbent will ensure that the organization's current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are managed, organized, trained, and rewarded in accordance with company´s global principles, programs and strategy, as well as locally. Liaise with COEs, functional and HR business partners to implement local human resource initiatives that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall people strategy. Ensure that the organization's human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.In this role, you will:
Strategy Execution (20%)
- Contribute to the development and execution of Andean Cluster business strategy
- Gathers business inputs and priorities to determine country/cluster people strategies integrated with Enterprise, International People Strategies and ensures execution
- Ensures HR tactics in the PMU are aligned to International & Enterprise People Strategies
- Contribute to the development and execution against manufacturing strategies for 2 plants (Colombia & Peru).
- Implement engagement programs at local levelHR consultant (30%)
- Be the HR leader and voice on the Andean leadership team, providing HR and leadership perspective on business discussions.
- Provides coaching to leadership team and people managers (in country and non-local)
- Lead change and communication plans to support current and future organizational changes
- Understand business challenges/opportunities (both internally and externally) and support local leaders in driving a growth culture
- Provide guidance, coaching and thought leadership to local leaders and managers
- Deliver HR expertise on projects and ensure projects/priorities are coordinated and aligned to the SBU, International and Global strategy
- Provides expertise and leads organizational design and change management initiatives
- Works with leaders to enable sustainable organization performance and culture alignment with business strategy
- Integrate people processes across functions at local level.Operations, Efficiency and Compliance (25%)
- Manage the HR operations for the country, such as: payroll, ER cases, benefits, pension governance and oversight, time & attendance policies, local training needs, local compensation programs, among others.
- Support HR processes to ensure competitive programs and structures are in place
- Review HR and administration policies on a regularly basis with a view to increasing functional efficiency, enhancing employee experience, ensuring controls and compliance (local and global)
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and in compliance with local legislation
- Support the administrative process and requirements for maintaining legal entity/ entities, including liaising with government officials, keeping track of relevant documents and keeping abreast of local mandates
- Prepare and deliver the HR budget for the clusterHR Integration / Operations Leadership (including Plants) (10%)
- Execution of integrated cross functional initiatives
- Acts as a steward to HR practice areas and ensures services are meeting business needs with quality and effectiveness. Escalates issues as needed.
- Seamlessly implements and embeds new HR technology/processes into the organization
- Participate, provide broad Int’l HR perspective, and implement global HR initiativ
