- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent experience is required
- Strong hands-on experience with UI, CSS, and/or JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, Materialize, Angular, Vue.js, React, etc.) with a focus on implementing accessible components
- Experience with modern HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS3, emphasizing semantic markup and accessible design patterns
- Strong experience with Playwright Automation framework, including its capabilities for accessibility testing
- Experience with RESTFUL and asynchronous programming, ensuring accessibility in dynamic content loading
- Experience working on Node.js, with knowledge of server-side rendering for improved accessibility
- In-depth knowledge of UI/UX design principles, with a strong emphasis on inclusive design and accessibility
- Familiarity with assistive technologies (screen readers, voice recognition software, etc.) and ability to test with these tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, experience in GitHub Actions will be preferred, including integration of automated accessibility checks
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with working on Databases, SQLs, including storing and retrieving accessibility-related data
- Proven track record of conducting accessibility audits and implementing remediation strategies
- Knowledge of relevant accessibility laws and standards

- Extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) with a focus on building accessible user interfaces
- Proficiency in using assistive technologies and conducting accessibility audits
- Experience with modern automation end-to-end frameworks, including accessibility testing tools
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines that incorporate accessibility checks
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals including semantic HTML, CSS (including accessible design patterns), and JavaScript with a focus on ARIA and other accessibility APIs
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, particularly those related to accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with one or more observability platforms to monitor the health and accessibility compliance of products
- Perform manual testing using various assistive technologies such as screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation, and screen magnifiers
- Test with different browsers and devices to ensure consistent accessibility across platforms
- Create a checklist based on WCAG 2.1 (or the latest version) guidelines and methodically go through each criterion
- Document all findings, including the severity of issues and their impact on different user groups
- Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated on emerging accessibility best practices

- Focusing on accessible development, gathering requirements with a strong emphasis on accessibility needs, and creating inclusive test plans in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and accessibility experts
- Conducting regular accessibility audits and managing the remediation of accessibility-related defects
- Developing and maintaining accessible testing frameworks, integrating accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines, and making these tools available to the team
- Being responsible for end-to-end delivery (tech design, development, and testing) and maintenance of our products, with accessibility as a core consideration at every stage
- Collaborating with UX designers to create and implement accessible design patterns and components
- Providing guidance and training to team members on accessibility best practices and emerging standards
- Staying updated on the latest accessibility technologies and guidelines, and implementing them in our products
- Working closely with assistive technology users to gather feedback and improve the user experience
- Advocating for accessibility throughout the organization and contributing to the creation of internal accessibility guidelines
