This paid internship program is an opportunity for students and recent graduates like you to gain hands-on professional experience in a truly global organization. In addition to gaining real world experience, you will be exposed to several of IPA’s teams and be able to take advantage of tailored training and development opportunities. As an intern on the EIB Project team, here are some projects and activities that you can look forward to:- Assist in survey design and programming
- Assist in data management and data cleaning
- Assist in the creation of training material and reports
- Assist in training of field teams
- Support in logistics activities
- Assist in monitoring and supervising field teams
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisorThe interns will work closely with the Research Associate. This intern will be expected to work between 40 hours per week. The pay rate is S/ 1025.00 (soles)/month, and the internship will be located onsite in Ayacucho, Peru.
- Qualifications
- Recently graduated in economics, social sciences, public policy, or related fields.
- Self-starter, resourceful and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a group.
- Strong oral and written Spanish communications skills.
- Intermediate oral and written English communications skills.
- Familiarity with Latin America studies is a plus.
- Prior knowledge of quantitative data collection instruments and tools is a plus.
- Prior knowledge of quantitative data analysis packages is a plus (ideally Stata).
