In this role, you will be required to assist the project construction superintendent with plan development, training, environmental safety & health (ES&H), quality review, and technical support and participate in the direction of craft professional activities.
Your work will help ensure construction operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.
Major Responsibilities: Being considered an Assistant Superintendent, directing craft activities under supervision of superintendent and responsible for plan development, training, ES&H, quality, etc.
Participating in the preparation of construction drawings and sketches.
Participating in the development of planning construction methods and procedures.
Developing projections and schedules for workforce, material and equipment requirements.
Monitoring tool and equipment usage on the site.
Preparing Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
Monitoring installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.
Implementing and enforcing policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
Working with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
Participating in the coordination of engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
Education and Experience Requirements: Requires degree related to the position and qualified tuition (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience.A1 License issued 5 years ago is required.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge in industrial electrical installations.
Knowledge in electrical substations.
Knowledge in industrial automation.
Knowledge National Electricity Code.
Knowledge in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of planning tools (3WLA).
Knowledge in reading of multidisciplinary plans.
