Application Deadline: OngoingAs our Projects Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in driving our initiatives forward while amplifying LAFF's mission through effective communication strategies. This role combines project management and strategic communication, offering you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, gain valuable experience in the non-profit sector. Project coordination is essential parts of LAFF's work, creating long-term relationships with supporters and ensuring effective project implementation. In this position, you will foster new relationships, maintain existing ones, and support the successful execution of our initiatives.You will focus on assisting in project planning and implementation. Your independent research skills and innovation will see you collaborate with all of LAFF’s team to collect and present information, as well as contribute to project management.LAFF’s mission of supporting access to education through partnership with local organisations means that you will work closely with partners to get updates, new material, and assist in project coordination.Your success in this position will rely on your understanding of the socio-economic problems in Peru that affect LAFF’s beneficiaries, and your ability to effectively communicate the importance of LAFF’s work and progress, and your skills in supporting project implementation.Objectives of this RoleUnder the supervision of the Partnerships Manager, the Projects Coordinator will be expected to carry out the following tasks: * Assist the Partnerships Manager in planning and implementing key projects
- Liaise with local partners to gather project updates and success stories
- Contribute to project reporting and evaluation
- Identify opportunities for new projects that align with LAFF's mission
- Support capacity-building initiatives for local partners in project management.
- Write and publish articles to raise awareness of thematic issues central to the aims of LAFF
- Undergraduate degree in a related field (Languages, International Relations, etc) or experience working in a project management role.
- Volunteering experience and/or work experience in Education and International Development highly desirable
- Intermediate or advanced Spanish skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Interest in acquiring International Development experience
- Highly organised, flexible, independent, culturally sensitive and detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Basic project management skills and experience (desirable)
- Good knowledge of GSuite
