**1. Lead a team of payments operations professionals**:
Oversee and guide the team responsible for payments in LATAM.**2. Develop and improve payment processes**:
Implement strategies for simplification, standardization, and automation of payment processes.**3. Ensure daily payment process across LATAM**:
Oversee daily payment activities, including transactions with merchants, vendors, and intercompany payments.**4. Supervise daily payment accounting in SAP**:
Ensure accurate and timely recording of payment transactions in SAP.**5. Supervise month-end closing**:
Deliver schedules and oversee the month-end closing process.**6. Support ad-hoc payment operations projects**:
Collaborate on special projects and handle new payment requirements.**7. Resolve customer inquiries about payments**:
Address and resolve inquiries related to payments from internal and external customers.**8. Supervise internal controls**:
Oversee the maintenance of internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and fiscal system integrity.**9. Serve as the payments operations contact point**:
Act as the primary contact for payments operations in LATAM, liaising with various departments.**10. Temporarily support treasury activities**:
Assist in treasury activities, including FX deals, forecasting, and cash liquidity management, until the separation between payment and treasury functions is accomplished.**11. Produce and analyze reports**:
Generate and analyze reports for issue escalation, sharing results with senior management on SLAs and achievements.**12. Identify learning and development needs**:
Assist in identifying individual and team learning and development needs, participating in training when required.**13. Maintain and update procedures**:
Ensure all payment procedures are maintained, updated, and any changes are effectively communicated.**Requirements**:
**1. Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.Professional certification in finance or treasury management is a plus.**2. Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury and payments operations or a similar role.Proven experience leading and managing a team.**3. Skills**:
Proficiency in SAP and other relevant financial software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of internal controls and fiscal systems.**4. Knowledge**:
In-depth knowledge of payment processes, both manual and automated.Familiarity with FX deals, forecasting, and cash liquidity management.Advanced English (exclusive)Plus knowledge of TMSBanking knowledge (SWIFT, SEPA, MT101, MT940, etc...)**Why should you work for us?**
